Climbing mount toubkal - gecko's employee, louise, climbs the tallest mountain in the atlas mountins, north africa
Louise, one of our Trainers, has just returned from an awesome adventure, climbing Mount Toubkal, 4167m high in Morocco - the tallest mountain in the Atlas Mountains in North Africa.
She says it was: "A super challenge and although it was hard work we all had a great deal of fun!"
Reporting more her big challenge and awesome trip, Louise said:
"The climb was tough but it was worth it. The scenery was amazing. We hiked in temperatures of over 32 degrees on day 1, in contrast to day 2 when the weather changed and we battled against 45mph winds, whilst scaling an almost verticle mountain side. What an amazing experience though; crossing small ice fields, seeing all the beautiful flowers and walking with a 'like-minded' group.
